I always joke when at a speaking gig by saying that if Coke a Cola has to advertise, so does every book author. One of the most popular ways to advertise a book is to take advantage of the offerings on one of the biggest online bookstores to ever exist - that, of course, is Amazon. But navigating the Amazon Ad placement process is intimidating, complicated, and can be costly. Who wants to waste their precious book budget or time on a strategy that even if implemented improperly will not yield results?
Help is on the way. In this podcast, we interview an expert, April Cox, owner of self-publishing made simple to answer questions regarding Amazon ads. I start the podcast interview by asking if Amazon ads are “A Must” for the book marketer. April’s answer, “It is if you want to sell books on Amazon!”
